Know what sells on e-bay

I have over 400 positive feedback's on e-bay. I learned a positive way to sell my items, and know what items will be profitable to sell on e-bay.

For example, I wanted to sell some children's costumes that were easy to make I found one that related to a popular character from a big movie that particular year. The character had numerous sales and was easy enough to make. I looked at the most expensive and noticed several bids. I decided to design and make my own childs costume in that particular character, posted it with my grandson as my model and had numerous bids within the same day. I then decided to sell them at a buy it now price just under the manufacturer price. I ended up making about 4 different sizes and sold just under $4000,00 worth in one month. Of course this was not including my time or material cost which was minimal, and I did have to incorperate help from 3 family members.

I would say this works best with crafters and artests. As I know I am, always thinking everything I make people would want. Not the case, but you can get lucky, or start a trend.

Thus I suggest anything you want to sell, look it up and see how it is selling on e-bay. Some things aren't worth your time. Always go to the highest price at the top menu and see if there are any bids.
